This message appears when the original photo data is not stored on the device.
On iOS or iPadOS, photos may be stored only in iCloud to save storage space, leaving only low-resolution thumbnails on the device.
Because the minigames use high-resolution original image data, photos without original data stored on the device cannot be loaded and will be skipped.
Enabling the Load Photos from iCloud setting may allow the original images to be retrieved and resolve the issue.
■ Steps
- Tap the gear icon at the bottom of the screen to access the Options menu.
- Tap Settings.
- Set Load Photos from iCloud to Wi-Fi Only or Always Use.
■ Notes:
- If Wi-Fi Only is selected, make sure you're connected to Wi-Fi while trying.
- Photos may be skipped if they cannot be downloaded from iCloud, such as when Airplane Mode is on or if network access is restricted.
- If the device has very little storage space, original photos may not be downloaded from iCloud, and may be skipped as a result.
